Game Review: God of War III – Kratos Brings Down the Mountain

Let me just mention first, gamers, this is not a game for the fair at heart. It is intensely intense. However, for those diehard God of War fans, and their are millions of you, this game will meet all your expectations. All of the reviews I have seen give it a 9.5 or a 10, which in itself is saying alot.
Just about every review heralds God of War III as a fantastic game and one of which will make you happy you own a PS3. Graphically, this game is amazing. The graphics make Kratos to be the single, best looking character in games today. The gameplay is perfection and combat between the characters is a blast!
As far as the camera work goes, it’s awesome! You really feel as though you’re virtually within the game itself fighting these huge battles. Keeping with that thought, the environments are equally impressive. The secondary weapons are actually better this time, but the story line is lacking. The original story line was the best.
There is replay value and alternate skins if you bought the ultimate edition or preordered it. Try out other difficulties, as they are fun. Check out the challenge rooms as they open up the “Arena”.
All in all, the buzz out there is this game is worth buying and although it’s not the longest game, the ride is epic!
